What is your guilty pleasure?
CHIPS AND SALSA. I literally cannot say no to chips and salsa. It's impossible. I have tried and my hand still finds the chip bowl anyway.
What is your favorite thing about your city and why?
It's right in between the mountains and the ocean, two of my fave things. I have a job that I love in that city and it has the best fried egg sandwich around town at Snow City Cafe.
Funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I've been backpacking Europe with my best friend and we were in an airport headed to Ireland the other day and she hopped onto an escalator to find where we check in. I thought she went the wrong way because I misread the sign, so I yelled at her to get off the escalator. She started to run backwards off the escalator and ended up leaping off of it! I cracked up! Much needed comedic relief during stressful traveling!
Favorite season and why?
SUMMER! It's appropriate to drink iced coffee without getting glared at (I drink iced coffee at all times, including the dead of winter). Longer days are another thing I love about summers in Alaska! Being able to get out of the city and into the woods and the ocean.
If you could have any job what would it be?
I would be a traveling taco and coffee taster. AKA I would travel to different countries and find the best taco and coffee shops in each place.
But if that doesn't work out I'd love to do both something creative and something related to therapy.
Do you have any pets?
I have 2 dogs. Lucy is a mix that my fam rescued and she is crazy (!!) but in a way that makes you want to cuddle her. Jax is my fur baby, and I am definitely his favorite human. He is an English retriever and is like a clumsy and awkward teenager in dog form. Here is a picture of Jax. Not pictured: Lucy because she does not sit still long enough to get a picture.
