If you were a color, which one would you be? Definitely Lavender! As a child it was purple, but I’ve lightened up a bit, as I’ve gotten older.

Favorite quote? “People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."

 ~Mother Teresa

Do you have kids/pets? I have my fur baby, Coco, who is 1 now. She’s a Main Coon cat and so delightful. I’m also expecting my first child in January, a baby girl.

Favorite music? I’d have to say it’s soul music because any genre can fall into this category. When someone sings from their soul and is vulnerable you can tell and I find it to be incredibly healing and honest.

What is your most favorite thing about humanity? I love discovering what connects us. Though we are all unique, I love those a-ha moments where I find the connecting point with a person, something we have in common.

What book are you currently reading or one you recommend to anyone? I just started this book called “Boundaries” and have found it to be incredibly helpful. As a naturally empathetic person I have had to learn that setting boundaries and learning to say no does not make me less compassionate or kind. It’s helped me learn to finally love myself and not solely focus on others.

Favorite season and why? My favorite season is definitely Fall. I love when the temperature drops and the color of the leaves change. I think I also love seeing that in a spiritual and natural sense we all have to let things go in order to continue blossoming.
